Hi there,
I am filling out my information for Search Associates and CIS, and I have a question about my references. I have my current preschool director and two former principals as my main supervisor references, but one of the principals I have not seen since 2004, and while trying to locate her I have learned that she has since retired and now has cancer. So I don't know if she will be available to be a reference for me. What should I do, since I need three "supervisors?" Would my former advisor from my university work? How about a master teacher from my student teaching who went on to become a partner teacher with me when I was hired at her school, and later I even taught her son?
What do people do if they've only worked at one school and have had only one supervisor?
Finally, how should my references fill out the evaluation form for Search Associates? When I go to the Evaluations section and click on the pdf forms, I can't write on them, and there is no link to send them. So I don't know how to have my references fill out the form.
Thanks everyone.

For Search Associates your supevisor references need to fill out an online evaluation. It takes them about 10 minutes. Once you have registered with Search you enter their email information and then a link is sent via email. They log in and fill it out. You are then notified by search when it is complete. The only problem which I encountered was that one of my school districts filtered the initial email as SPAM, but Search provided steps on how to work around that issue.
Supervisor Evals
Hi NMS,
Ask a principal, assistant principal, and department head. If you don't have those, contact your recruiter at Search for advice.
