Newton International School - Qatar

Post by aphid »

To help me decide whether or not to apply for a teaching position at this school I would welcome balanced comments from anyone with knowledge or experience of this relatively new school in Doha.

Such as:
Is it a good school to work in?
Is it well run and resourced?
Are students motivated?
What is Doha like for a family? (I have two 2 teenage children)

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks for the reply.

I have read the thread you refer to but unfortunately it does not reach a conclusion. I tried a PM to Hippo but that is disabled.

Many thanks but you have more than resolved any lingering doubts via other forums.

As there has not been anything about NIS recently, would I be right in thinking that it has improved and now the teachers are a lot happier? It would be interesting to hear from some teachers who are currently teaching at D Ring, West Bay or the "British" branch.
