Has anyone out there worked as an English teacher in Korea? I have taught Koreans and had a very good rapport with them. If I teach overseas, one of reasons will be to save money. I have heard that cost of living is cheaper there then here in the United States and my housing would be provided for me by the school and would be within walking distance to the school. Please give me your opinions and experience about this. Also, the school would pay for my airfare and also for my passport expenses.

I have an English friend who has lived in Egypt. She tells me that I should get a teaching job over there. She loved living there and said tht the people are fantastic. Can someone fill me in on Egypt. I would like some advice on schools and which are worth applying to and which to avoid. I am flexible and do not have to live in an urban area such as Cairo. The country would be okay too (I think).

Hi,
I am new to the world of international teaching and want to know if this agency is legitimate. It is called Journeyeast.org and says they will place you in a job, help you secure your work visa, set you up in an apt., meet you at the airport etc. The catch is- you need to send them your airfare money to get there. I am talking about going to China. Does anyone have any information about this agency? Please clue me in if you know something. Thanks! :?:

There is a college in China that really wants to hire me for one year. The name of the college is: Baotou Light Industry Vocational Technical College. It is located in the city of Baotou (which, no kidding, is in Inner Mongolia). If ANYONE knows anything about this school or teaching in China (in general) please let me know within the next week.
