Re: Surprised
No i wouldnt be surprised that SOME people like Kuwait. Some people like fish sauce straight, some people like to be suffocated in the bedroom, some people like to cut them selves. It doesnt surprise me that there is a small group of people that like anything.
sad to see how limited your imagination is.
and knowing that you have never been to Kuwait, i will not continue this conversation. Denmark will never be a country of MY choice and I had an opportunity to work there before (not at school though) and know about the comforts it has to offer.

Re: Non-native English Speaker
I am curious about your thoughts on the chance of securing a counselor position in an international school as a non-native speaker. I have been living in the United States for 13 years and got my master's in school counseling from a US university and worked in public school system for 7 years. With all these experience and credentials, I am still unsure whether I would be considered as a competitive candidate due to my accent in English.
I will greatly appreciate if you could share your experience, observations and thoughts.
Thanks.
If you can land a job in States, then you can do the same abroad.

Re: Resume or CV?
Hello,
I plan on applying for an international teaching position for the 2012-2014 school years. Although I have been overseas for a brief period in the past, I am completely new to this whole international teaching thing. I was wondering if I should use a CV or a resume when applying to schools/job fairs? I also will be attending the UNI fair in February. Thanks for your help.
what's the difference between the two?

Re: 1 year contracts?
What countries or schools are known for giving only 1 year contracts, instead of 2? Just wondering, because sometimes one doensn't want to remain in one place for 2 years...

Merci! :)
I believe most schools in kuwait offer one year contract
