Topic: 100k baht up in Bangkok. Easy?

I know several schools where the scale tops 100K baht a month easily, though not 100K US dollars annually.
I've lived in Bangkok a long time, and I know several teachers at ISB, NIST, Patana, Shrewsbury, and Harrow that make over 100K baht a month. ISB and NIST both have salaries starting around 120K a month.
At a lot of the smaller schools, it all depends on what you can negotiate. I know teachers at the American School of Bangkok who have specialized teaching credentials and knew the director when they got hired, and were able to get salaries around 100K. At some schools there is no published salary scale, and it's all about how well you market yourself.
So yes, I would say there are several schools that pay at least 100K baht a month. Are they easy to get into? Not really, but they are out there.

Try Colorado. I got my certificate there 7 years ago. A provisional license is good for three years and can be renewed indefinitely for $60 every three years if you never teach in-state. I got my license there and have been abroad since I left my licensing program. I've renewed twice through the mail, no problem.

Don't go there. I worked for their director, Tom Dellario, a few years back at another school in Bangkok. Nice guy, but he recently broke two contracts in a row mid-year at other schools in the area. The school is beautiful, but it's for profit and run by Thais, which doesn't usually mesh well with a western-style education. Also, last year they were advertising for teachers and were not requiring teaching certification. There are some excellent international schools catering to locals in Bangkok that pay decently. Check out KIS, St. Andrews, St. Stephens, or Shrewsbury.

London

I am interested in a job in London or the UK, but I don't know about packages. I am single, but I would like to be able to save and travel at least a bit. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I know a little bit about them as I had an interview/visit with them at their main campus on Sukhumvit 49 a couple of years ago. They teach around the Reggio-Emilia philosophy, with a big focus on art and the physical environment. Their campuses are beautiful. I know that 2 of their 3 or 4 facilities are early childhood only - either ages 1-6 or 3-6, I think. When I met with their director, Jackie, on the main campus, I was told they only teach ages 3 to 9 - up to third grade. So I don't know anything about a grade 5 class - I'd contact the school directly to ask about it. I do know that some of their teachers have more of an arts background than a teaching background, so I don't know how that changes the atmosphere.
It is supposed to be an excellent school with a good package. I'd say it's worth checking out.
