Dear all,
How much do you think you need to earn in Singapore to match the salary/cost of living balance of earning £60k per annum (housing allowance included) in a tier 2 Chinese city?
Thanks

Well done for getting the interviews, you have already done better than I did when I was in your position! Sounds like I was being too negative after all.

I don't want to sound negative, but with your amount of experience you can't really be too picky in terms of location. I'm talking from experience, because I tried to do the same as you, but couldn't get an interview. To be fair, I'm not an MFL teacher so it could be different for you.

Dubai - Jewels and Crowns
Hi guys,
I have seen a couple of chain schools in Dubai advertising recently. One is quite 'jewel'-like and the other has a 'royal' looking logo.
Anyone who would like to share experiences of these two would be much appreciated.
Cheers

I lived in Taiwan for 3 years. Have to say Damok sums it pretty much perfectly.
