Re: What to try next?

My 2 cents to a fellow Kiwi is to not give up. I think the big recruiting window is December to March. Have you thought about the Search Associates fair in Melbourne? Look into it. Nick Kendall is excellent (SA).

Also who is your recruitment? That could be your issue

Teenagers in the International School Environment

Hi,

We are taking our 15 year old lad on our 1st overseas assignment shortly. We are very excited for him to be in an international school environment but we were interested if anyone has any advice for helping to set him up for his new school and life in a foreign country.

Cheers :)

Re: VPN for Hong Kong

I have used Torguard for the last 3 years. They have a stealth mode which works well for China especially when they do DPI crackdowns from time to time in China that take out Astrill more often than not.

The stealth mode gets under the great firewall of china using an encrypted http connection whereas Astrill use encrypted https which gets blocked when crackdowns happen.

Torrents are ok on some servers and you can usually track down a discount code by using google. They keep no logs and are based outside of the USA

I've had a great experience with Search. Nick Kendall was an absolute pro. I'm not even kidding.

Manila, Philippines

Hi all.

I have secured a teaching position in the Philippines. I won't go into which school but I am interested in any expat info that might be of help. Got the jabs done today, but any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks for your comment. Would you mind elaborating on expat life in hk a little. I am very interested in living there and just need a little convincing.

Hi all,

I'm interested if anyone has had any experience with ESF Hong Kong. Quite a few schools within the foundation.

*Info on the foundation
*Cost of living in Hong Kong
*Savings potential
*Life in Hong Kong for expats

Balloona just offered me a job at her school. Sounds like a keeper!

Where do I sign?!?
