My school does not have a single teacher leaving this year. This seems especially surprising considering it is a QSI school. Anyone else at a school with 0% or very low turnover? The last school I was at had 30-40% a year.

I know a couple schools that did, AISJ didnt have to do any hiring this year. Some parts of europe still dont know who is coming back or not.

ASIJ did not do much hiring because there was a RIF (reduction in force) in place, nearly everyone was able to get a new position within the school because there was turnover. A few teachers were laid off though, which is a lot worse than having turnover I think...
There were a few hires also, but mostly locally (trailing spouses, some part time positions etc.)

My medium sized Asian school lost 3/hired 3. I think that there may be a connection with Intl teachers staying put, and heads noticing that the talent pools at the job fairs were pretty young.

At my QSI school, only two staff members are leaving QSI for other jobs. We have 5 others who are transferring, which, considering the size of our staff, seems like a pretty low turnover to me. I don't know if I'd even count a transfer as a real turnover. Our school ended up hiring more teachers than are actually leaving, due to a real jump in numbers this year.
