Hello!

I am trying to gather as much information as possible on the cost of living in Cairo, Egypt. I know it is cheap to live there and several people have said this, but I am not sure if this is true when it comes to living a semi western lifestyle in cairo.
If you lived in Cairo for a couple of years and saved heaps of money while living very well on a quarter of your US salary please let me know. I guess it all depends on your salary? Thoughts, comments........general info about Cairo would be great.........thanks

Cairo has become more expensive lately as has the rest of the world. Yet, one can live like royalty on $500 to $1000 a month. If you are making about $25K you will be happy.
