Your assumption is that an expat bubble is undesirable, and while you would prefer a local association to the point its a priority for you, there are plenty of ITs that want that expat bubble bigger, and they just want the IT lifestyle in a region with a low cost of living so that they can do those weekend hotel champagne brunches, instead of some greasy dinner eggs and pancakes, they want to live well, they want imports at upscale markets, and they want their workout to be with other expats, an expat hangout, and they would like to afford a new dress and go to embassy parties.

No, you're wrong, I'm not assuming anything.
I keep saying that 'for me' it is undesirable. In every post I mention it's my personal preference.
As I said before, of course everyone has their own hardship list.
