Hello folks.

I'm a US citizen who is starting to think about filing for 2021 and I have a bit of a complex return and want to get solid tax preparer (i.e. W-2 income, gig economy income, and foreign income).

I had one before that dealt with expats and they weren't so hot so I am thinking of finding a new group. Any suggestions?

Turbotax can easily handle your three issues and it is easy to use and e-file. My return is even more complex (hundreds of stock and crypto trades in addition to self-employment and a 2555), and turbotax led me through it with no problems. There is a free version that only works online but I use the basic version that I download that costs $30-40.

I did much better switching to a live preparer after years of turbotax. Saved me hundreds of dollars annually, even refiled past years to get money back. Try tax911.
