Yes I actually do know that.
They asked me about it and said they didn't want different treatments for the same roles and would be taking it away. Then I produced the document, they begrudgingly accepted it and the exception was continued.
Classic causation, zero fallacy.

No you dont, still causation fallacy. You dont know what was going on in their head, youre assuming that brandishing this document is what changed their mind and not something else they were thinking. Thats classic causation fallacy. You only think that those events occurring close in time was the result of one causing the other.
