Largely manageable. Borders still closed I guessed and teachers are mainly recruited inside the country rather than overseas.

Things changes all the time, there is always a window period where foreign teachers will be able to enter the country.

Heard the 4th wave is coming and figures hovering around thousand every single day.

Thanks, yea I heard that too, I have an offer, currently overseas but have kept my eye on things the Government saying after Hari Raya another two-week closure of schools. Just hope the 4th wave isn't like other countries which are currently on the news as I have a family to consider.

The country is on lockdown now. I believed new teachers outside the country won't be able to start the new academic year as far as the lockdown continues.

I have a friend currently teaching here and are in lockdown, so they can't leave Malaysia for the summer break. If you are planning to start there in August, you're probably going to be delayed.
