Just that. How many teachers do you personally know who have had Covid?

It’s quite a handful, honestly, across multiple schools. One principal I know died from it. And another who is an international educator extraordinaire, is currently fighting it.

2 in my own quite small school.

And surprisingly none among my wider network of former colleagues.

~10 of us have had it, but we've also been virtual and WFH since March so we definitely go it from somewhere outside of school.

None at my smallish school. Students or teachers.

We've had confirmed cases in some students and families as well - half a dozen students, and a similar number of parents.

About 30+, there was a short period of time I got a text everyday from one that was diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 and asking for something or other.

Me and three others. We were all locked down for two weeks. In my case three. The school delivered food and doctors did home visits. The oldest of us who is 60, was asymptomatic. The other three were all pretty sick. Nobody was hospitalized. There are about 85 members of staff here.

I'm glad to have gotten it out of the way and felt the school was very supportive.
