Forteach,

if you have a US passport, go as a US teacher, which is where you have taught anyways.

Going the opposite way. Yes you have a chance, just not a very good one. Lower tier ISs wont care about anything past your passport and not being an NES. The upper tier ISs get plenty of applications even in the sciences and maths that thet can get western colonial (white) ITs without problem.

There are two good international schools in Taiwan, both located in Taipei.

Lack of IB isnt a problem or an issue not in your teaching fields. You could go through a lot of work and effort to get domestic IB experience and easily find out it doesnt matter much in terms of your marketability.

Taiwan would be difficult, both in terms of recruiting and and in terms of comp, as youre likely to be considered an LH.
