Relieve International Teachers Questions

Post by JasperTheCat »

Anyone has any information about relieve international teachers or support international teachers (especially in South East Asia)? Is teaching licensed required? What is the pay scale? Are they needed? What are the processes involved in getting the position? What are they looking for? Any visa help? Housing or any other benefits?

You will need a teaching credential if you want any work.
The pay scale is usually inline with the ISs salary structure, though there is often much more room to negotiate.
There isnt the demand there used to be.
An IS contacts you, you arrange a meeting time where you will discuss the duties and the compensation.
ITs who are nimble and quick and can be on a plane the next day, typically families and partners are frowned upon. ISs prefer LHs.
You will usually get the standard visa support, though more likely you will be flying in on a business visa. In the EU you will need an EU passport.
That all negotiable. Typically you wont get a housing benefit but you have a lot more room to negotiate.
