Hi All,

At the moment I've started to notice a rather interesting predicament for what is occurring in China. Some schools with a sizeable expat population have excess staff due to closed borders while schools with local students are really struggling to put qualified bums on seats from a teacher perspective.

Has anyone else noticed some pretty desperate schools at the moment - specifically since some borders are closed with a limited talent pool in some locations??

My teacher friends in China were definitely in high demand this year, but also some of the top schools (with lots of expats) are (or were) hiring.

Now that its August, Ive seen a lot of recruitment struggling not normally seen this time of year, with a pretty fair amount of it located in China.
