Golf in the Middle East

Post by booboo14 »

Are there any countries in the ME where an IT could enjoy affordable golf? Trying to broaden my options and have always disavowed going there but perhaps this is a positive aspect of the ME? Just wondering.

Try Egypt and Bahrain. Affordable if you book online in advance. $ 60-100- a day.

Abu Dhabi has at least one as well that isn't too outrageous.

My friends in Riyadh went golfing often at Arizona Compound or down in Dirab. Not too expensive, relatively speaking.

Define affordable. There are many courses and many teachers play. So it must be affordable by some definitions.

I know of a teacher who used to play golf in Oman but I am unsure about the cost. They have several golf courses there as I understood it so there must be one that is affordable, and it is a beautiful country.
