So you're agreeing with us that reputation can differ from reality then?

He admitted himself that he was knowingly running an elaborate Ponzi scheme, which is a a form of fraud.

Adjudication simply refers to the formal legal process by which a judge or arbiter reviews evidence to come to a decision in a legal matter. The decision in this case is to establish if it was or wasn't a murder that was committed.
It was murder before the adjudication even started, the adjudication simply says if it was (past tense).

No thats why opinions and beliefs are a reflection of reality, they arent reality their related to it.

It would have only been fraud if hed have failed to redeem their investments which he failed to do, but he also stated several times during the course of the investment strategy that he believed he could and would have made good on the assets under management.
He was a great guy with a sterling reputation until that happened, and then he didnt have the reputation anymore.

No it wasnt, it was homicide, until after the verdict then it was murder.

The US legal system disagrees with you.
He was conning people while still having a good reputation. It happens.

The verdict establishes what is was at the time it took place, based on the evidence presented. All or enough checkboxes checked? If so, it was murder. WAS, as in past tense.
Let's agree to disagree.

Yes, he was, the courts concluded that what he did was fraud.

Compare it with seeing a certain bird. You snap a picture, and then proceed to look up in your 'Big Book of Birds' to see what kind of bird it was. You then conclude based on is characteristics that it was a Asian Crested Ibis.
That doesn't mean that it wasn't an Asian Crested Ibis before you reached that conclusion.

You could indeed go over the entirety of Schrodinger's cat, but it wouldn't help your case, as the bird would have still been an Asian Crested Ibis the entire time, and could have been identified as such on the spot as such by a serious birder based on its characteristics.
