Ranking of subjects, from most in demand to least in demand?

Thanks all. I wonder if Say's Law is applicable here--if there are very few Latin teachers available, there will be no or almost no demand for it, but if somebody comes along who can teach it then they may have more luck.

No, because Says law doesnt account for market co-variates, of which FTE appointments are a factor. You could have a really high demand among ISs in general but within each IS youre not going to see the availability of a FTE appointment across very many of them, and thus your options become a combined vacancy (to meet FTE) where only a small portion of the schedule is Latin or your looking at PT/supply opportunities which generally wont support an OSH hire, resulting in hires being LH. If youre set on being a Latin IT your best option is to find a location or region such as London or Paris or Rome and relocate there and then put together enough PT contracts to self sponsor your own visa.
