Congratulations from another 7%, who has secured jobs at UNI twice. It just takes patience, a willingness to broaden your perspective and planning-all of which you demonstrated.

Thanks for sharing your detailed fair diary with us, and congratulations on your new jobs. It's rare, but there are some schools out there who are willing to take on three or more children. I have a non-teaching spouse and two kids and it certainly lowers the odds (maybe not quite as low as 7%) but there are still jobs out there. Well done!

WOW, go out and buy a lottery ticket. You really beat the odds. 3 kids and a basically trailing spouse with for an art teacher. Thats truly truly impressive.

I truly can't believe this person got a job. What's even more incredible is that you think you can support 4 dependents on one international school salary. What does the typical UNI school pay these days? Even for a teacher with a load of years, 40-50k tops? Likely far less than that. Hope you have done your research and were not the victim of misinformation. Admin doesn't care whether or not you struggle to pay your bills.

Dear lookingforlefty...you are quite clearly a plonker...and appear to struggle with reading. Congratulations Heimtun on securing BOTH your positions even if one of them is on a different track. Enjoy the move into the exciting world of international education :-).
