Research

Keep us (me) updated Id be interested to see how long it takes for you to get a position, and how much time/effort you put into it.

Many veteran teachers get positions while only having to expend minimal resources. Even newbie teachers succeed eventually at some point (it just takes longer, due to shifts in the supply and demand market).

Where did I end up?

Post by miscitch »

I took a position at Jakarta International school. A really great process and extensive interviews. I did 4 Skype for a total of 5-6 hours. Tim Carr seems to be as good as his reputation.
Just need to pack, sell everything, and get onan airplane! LOL

Theyre a pretty good school. So it took you about 3 months, which is pretty good for being late in the season.

other offers

I did turn down a few other offers on top of those I turned down at UNI. Feel I did very well getting into JIS on first overseas school.
