How long did it take for your associate to ask for payment/ activate your profile after you finished your application. I have everything done, including references and it has been a few days... Starting to feel like the associate is not really going to be any kind of advocate for me.

You're probably not his only applicant, you know. Give it a week.

I realize that, heyteach, I was just looking for some helpful advice on what to expect as a timeline as this is new territory for us and we are anxious to start looking. We are in a remote location with bad Internet service, so having access to a database would really speed up the process.

In my experience, you just send the payment by check. Don't wait for a request. The amount is on the website. Once you've paid, you send an email asking for them to activate the account.

I'm not sure about the "just send a check" plan, our associate billed us within 48 hours, we paid by PayPal immediately, and were live the next day.
