We were told that males were more marketable in elementary as there were few available and it was good to have a balance of genders in the school. But that hasn't been our experience.

Is sending emails to schools looking for work from your present school email account not advisable? Even if you are completing your contract? I'm wondering if it's in some ways good as it in a way proves you are probably presently employed and is has 'edu' in the email address.

I'm surprised you would advise against joining SA. I thought that was the biggest organization. I'm also surprised about ISS too. Or do you mean you would join one or the other and not both?
