[quote="Yantantether"]Well well Psy Guy, it didn't take long before you let your mouth run away did it!
Let's get one thing straight before we go any further - don't even consider mouthing personal insults at me again unless you are willing and able to do the same should we meet in the street! Stay off my threads and I will steer clear from yours.

Oof! Maybe that parent had a case against you if this is the way you handle some critique!

Yeah keep it quiet, when you get there hit up another insurance agency and apply for pre-existing condition.
I know in Singapore, AIA, does NOT and WILL NOT pay for anything if there is any SLIGHTEST chance that a condition was pre-exisiting (even if there is no proof or prior medical treatment) within the first year of living there.

OFS are on leased land, everybody has a different rumour about their future.
http://www.tts.edu.sg/main/current_positions
http://www.sais.edu.sg/careers
I hear OFS and Tanglin have generous packages.
I'm on about 4,000SGD a month and as a couple get 2500SGD for rent. That is considered measly as a salary in an IS in Singapore.
Hope that gives you some insight.

One online course is with University of Southern Queensland http://www.usq.edu.au/handbook/2012/pdfs/PGCE.pdf
It involves you going down there for two weeks and takes 2 years online. It will take 2 years part time to get any sort of PGCE.

There are a lot of tier 2 schools in Singapore you may find easier to get into: Chatsworth, OFS, ISS, Tanglin. I think Tanglin and OFS offer a good package but the others medium to low.
I have a friend in SAIS who seems happy. Not sure of package. Friend who works in Australian IS shipped her cat over no problems.
I know Chatwsorth and ISS have done their hiring for next year and pretty sure UWC too.

International schools with religious mantras front and center are the most bigoted schools out there tbh.
Hong Kong IS have a 7 page application form in which 2 or 3 qs are about your religious background.
My wife (then girlfriend) had a chat with Concordia Shangai once, all was going good until they asked if we were married. No we aren't. Well okay we won't hire you unless you are. Buh-bye then. Same school was racist towards my friend when she took her basketball team there.

Don't know what they do for the rest of the year out of the job fair season and I don't really care.
Our associate has replied promptly both times we wanted to activate our accounts again and answered any questions promptly. No problems. When we get to the fair we always make sure to stop and chat even just for a few minutes. I was pleasantly surprised he remembered our first fair experience and he was reminiscing on that. Nice touch.
