Hong Qiao International School Shanghai
Any inform on this school and country etc. The head seems to have very positive reviews and seems to be someone that is fair and is working for the teachers. What tier would it be. Cost of living in the big city and food safety of course pollution issue as well as standard of living.

Excelsior International School Malaysia
Anybody have some up to date information regarding this school, understand its new and has had problems in the past but seeking accreditation with IB,CIS and WASC. It already offers the Cambridge program. Up to date first hand knowledge would be appreciated if that is possible. Had an interview and was honest up to this point even offered to contact other teachers at the school and would give all staff email so not a selected few, which is nice I thought. Understand at the start as new school salary will be on the low side.

Re: What to do about IB???
That is true I've had experience at National level, IPC, NZ, Some common core standards, did both category 1 and 2 training and doesn't mean jack to the top school where they are only looking for prior experience. So unless you want to work in a country that is less desirable over Bottom t2/t3 then it's difficult. I'm working part time in an IB school and when they did their interviews through the fairs, the head turned around and said if I want to apply I needed to go too the job fair, but they where looking for people with prior experience. So seems to be an exclusive club to get into, but keep applying you may get lucky

Have an interview coming up with the above company. Have done my research and looked on their website and at their schools etc. Seems all ok and enough information on it. But as a company what are they like and what are their schools like.
Any inside knowledge would be appreciated on the company. Understand HK is crazy expensive.
Thanks
