What is happening at KIS in India? Considering applying but I understand they have had a lot of changes? Any issues?

My wife and I were offered positions there last year but we turned them down. Everything looked good to us except salary which is abysmally low (came to about US$7,500 take home pay per year). If the salary was better we probably would have accepted it.

Third tier school, typical problem with living in India, and the compensation package is low.
